In exciting news, I’ve also decided to put something special together following a successful 12 months since writewithphil.com launched in its current form. I’m going to be putting together a Write with Phil book, which will take some of the best posts this year and put them into one place, for easy reading on Kindle.
Hopefully landing in time for Christmas, I’m not planning to charge for it, but instead give it away as a freebie. After all, it would be a bit cheeky to charge people for something that they could get online for free.
Depending on how successful it is, I’ll consider a hard copy as well, but as I’d like to get it out sooner rather than later, I’ll have to get a move on!
I know that a Write with Phil book wasn’t on the year ahead plan back in January, and I’m probably going against my own advice a little. But, after some self-reflection, I’m happy that I can find the time to getting the book together, and it will actually be a good addition to my portfolio.
Routine and time management is always important, but I’m really going to have to think about it over the coming months. The end of the year is likely to be a massive rush for me, as my day job is gearing up for a massive final few months of the year. NanoWriMo 2018 is just around the corner, and I’d love to start getting ready for it, but I might have to concentrate on this two projects for now.
Want to help?
If you’d like to help me proof the book, please send me an email using the contact page. This will be my first non-fiction book, and I’ll need to spend some time getting the tone and the order right.
If you don’t have time to help with the production of the book, please consider picking up a copy when it’s released and writing a review. It’ll cost you nothing, and I’ll be grateful as I try and reach a large audience.
